The Detroit rapper Eminem was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame this weekend. Dr. Dre was there to show him some love and introduced him. Eminem then went on to perform a few of his most well-known hits “My Name Is,” “Forever” and Stan. While performing “Stan” he welcomed Ed Sheeran to the stage. Eminem shared a
“I realize what an honor it is right now to be here up here tonight, and what a privilege it is to do the music that I love,” Eminem said “Music basically saved my life.”
“They say success has many fathers, and that’s definitely true for me. So whatever my impact has been on hip-hop music, I never would have or could have done this s–t without some of the groundbreaking artists that I’m about to mention right now.
Eminem’s mother Debbie also sent her heartwarming message where she says she’s proud of him and his daughter Haile.
Fans will be able to check out footage from the event when it airs on HBO on November 19.
