Jam Master Jay was sadly murdered almost 18 years ago and up until this time, his killers have remained at large. The murder of the Run-DMC member occurred back in 2002 while Master Jay was outside of his Queens studio in New York.

Federal officials and members of the New York City Police department are expected to announce charges for two suspects connected to the unsolved murder. Both Ronald Washington and Karl Jordan have been identified by law enforcement as the alleged suspects, pointing out that Washington is already in prison and Jordan was arrested by ATF and the NYPD over the weekend.

Since Jay’s passing his studio has been converted into the Hall of Fame studio owned by a company that continues to keep Jay’s legacy alive with painted murals and several RUN DMC memorabilia that decorates the walls.

Continue to Rest Jam Master Jay, 1965-2002.
