Jay-Z Reportedly Wants To Get Travis Scott To Back Out Of Super Bowl Performance

There were multiple reports indicating that Maroon 5 was having trouble finding guests for their Super Bowl halftime performance, but it seems like they found somebody for the job. Travis Scott is set to be joining the group onstage during the game and this has raised the attention of some people. Many fans have accused Scott of selling out and not standing with Kaepernick during the protests, one person that is looking to change that seems to be Jay-Z, who allegedly wants Scott to back out of the performance.

According to Variety, Hov’s been trying to convince Travis Scott to step down from performing at the big event. Jay has been vocal in his support for Colin Kaepernick and has openly criticized the NFL, for their treatment of the former player. Another artist to speak out against Scott’s decision to perform during the halftime show is Meek Mill. He let Travis know that he should “stay strong in this s***!,” forther adding that he has no issues with Scott at all.

Travis Scott has yet to make a statement regarding his official decision, but it should come soon.
