J Dilla’s “The Shining” Album Released As Gold Vinyl For Limited Edition

J Dilla’s first posthumous album, The Shining was released on August 22 in 2006. At the time of his passing the album was only 75 percent done, with only the mastering process needed.

Now BBE Records has collaborated with a German-based record store, HHV to sell one Gold Vinyl Edition of the record.

The Gold Vinyl edition is currently being sold for around $30 USD in limited quantities as only 500 copies are available.

The Shining includes an all-star lineup, with guest appearances featuring Common, Black Thought, D’Angelo, Madlib, J. Rocc, Dwele, Pharoahe Monch, Busta Rhymes, and Guilty Simpsons.
