The amount of money collectors are willing to spend on rare items is incredible. Recently, certain items have been going up for sale that used to belong to famous artists. Photos and letters that belonged to 2Pac were going up for sale for hundreds of thousands of dollars, as well as Kurt Cobain’s sweater and now, Michael Jackson’s socks.

According to a report by TMZ, the crystal socks that are being auctioned are from when he first did his signature moonwalk back in 1983.

The socks have been apart of music executive Frank DiLeo’s personal collection for many years now. DiLeo managed Jackson for five years in the 1980s, also signing him to Epic Records.

The socks are expected to go for somewhere between $1 million to 2 million. The auctions will take place from November 13-22.
