LL Cool J has held G.O.A.T. status for decades now and with his recent induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, the icon continues to receive his flowers as a new statue in his liking has been unveiled in his hometown of Queens.
Crafted by artist Sherwin Canfield, the LL Cool J monument stands in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, the statue portrays a younger LL, featured with his signature Kangol bucket hat, braided chain, and boombox. Speaking on his creation, Canfield commented, “I am proud to present my latest & most ambitious public sculpture.”

Famed emcee LL took to his social media account to celebrate the moment, writing in his Instagram caption update, “Anything is possible. Statue of me in Corona Park, Queens by the talented @sherwintheartist.”
The G.O.A.T. monument will be on display at David Dinkins Circle within Corona Park until November 2022.
