It’s been over a month since the passing of hi-hop legend DMX and just a week short weeks since his family, friends, and fans said their final goodbyes at X’s home going celebration. As the culture continues to remember and tribute the icon with his legacy of music and impact, the much anticipated project the late rapper was intensively working on will soon be released.

Announced via a press release, and X’s social media accounts, Exodus is set to arrive later this month on May 28th, marking the first posthumous release of the late Earl Simmons. Exclusively executive produced by long-time friend and collaborator Swizz Beatz, the super producer detailed in his statement, “My brother X was one of the most pure and rare souls I’ve ever met. He lived his life dedicated to his family and music. Most of all, he was generous with his giving and loved his fans beyond measure. This album, X couldn’t wait for his fans all around the world to hear and show just how much he valued each and every single person that has supported him unconditionally.”
