Having spent more than a decade on television, people would assume they know all there is to know about Kim Kardashian-West. Although she’s very open on both social media and television, fans will apparently learn more about her on an upcoming episode of E! True Hollywood Story.

Kim shared the moment when she met Kanye West and how they ultimately started their relationship. “I met Kanye in 2002. He would ask everyone who I was. They always said like, ‘Oh, she has a boyfriend.’ We just always kept on connecting and coming into each other’s lives,” she said. “He invited me to Paris to his fashion show, and then that’s when it like, happened. That’s when we started our relationship.” She added, “I was like, ‘S***. Why didn’t this happen sooner?’ It was just right.”

When the two first got together, numerous publications said she would lead to the demise of his career. “I mean, everyone would tell him, ‘You can’t be with her. She’s a reality star. She’s gonna sink your career,'” Kim said. “He was just like, ‘But I love her. I don’t care.'”

Kanye also appeared on the show and talked about why and how he fell in love with Kim. “Anytime I was around her or I saw her, it was a magnetic attraction to this force of energy,” he said. “She was good, pure, happy, loving, brave, courageous. Strong.”

E! True Hollywood Story is set to air this Sunday, October 13th.
