‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Becomes Sony’s Highest-Grossing Film Ever

Many blockbuster films have been released this year, including Spider-Man: Far From Home. The parent company of the movie is Sony, who has undoubtedly released some of the most lucrative movies of recent years: Spider-Man, Skyfall, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, to name a few.

However, only one film has stood out from the bunch in terms of highest-grossing average. Sony is projecting that Spider-Man: Far From Home will earn more than $830,000 this week, which would total its amount to more than $1.109 billion. The total would be enough to push the 2012 movie Skyfall to the second spot, which would allow Spider-Man to become Sony’s highest-grossing film of all time.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is the only non-Disney movie to cross $1B globally this year, considering it is still fully owned by Sony.
