Jay-Z continues to make money moves, even after being considered the first billionaire in hip hop. With the mogul delving in to different areas in business and looking to help out others with his criminal justice reform initiatives, he’s also been expanding his work in the entertainment field. Over the past few years, he’s produced numerous films and documentaries such as The Great Gatsby, Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story and others.

Now, reports have surfaced that Jay will be producing a brand new Netflix film. According to Collider, Jay is set to produce The Harder They Fall, which will also be Jeymes Samuel’s directorial debut and will star Jonathan Majors (of The Last Black Man in San Francisco).

The film was set to be filmed a few years ago, with a star-studded cast already attached to it. The cast included Michael K. Williams, Wesley Snipes, Rosario Dawson, Erykah Badu, and many more. Netflix will most likely assemble their own cast for this version of the film, considering the new production team.
