Roc Nation has become an entertainment company that houses some of the most popular entertainers, media personalities and athletes. With this said, boxer Daniel Franco claims to have signed a deal with Roc Nation Sports back in 2015 and is now suing Jay-Z and Roc Nation Sports after suffering major damage.

According to TMZ, Franco is placing the blame on Roc Nation after suffering a severe brain injury while fighting in the ring. Franco claims that he came down with the flu back in March 2017 and asked Roc Nation to postpone or cancel his match. He claims the company made him fight, which ended up with him losing in the third round.

The boxer goes on to say that he needs time to recover from the fight, but that Roc Nation had already overbooked him for a total of three matches in 79 days. Court documents also state that Franco suffered two fractures in his skull and a brain bleed prior to one of these matches. Franco also also says that doctors diagnosed him with a brain hemorrhage before he went into a coma. This then forced the doctors to remove a piece from his skull to relieve the pressure, which resulted in Franco coming out of his coma two weeks later.

Franco has since said that he’s forced to wear a helmet at all times to protect his brain, due to the injuries he suffered. The boxer says that Roc Nation failed to protect him and carelessly made him fight three fights in just 79 days.

Roc Nation hasn’t issued a statement regarding Franco’s claims as of yet.
