Anderson .Paak has taken the music world by storm after the released of two amazing albums during the past couple of years with Malibu and Oxnard. With the co-sign of Dr. Dre, .Paak has been able to take his talent to new heights and showcase them on a global stage. Now, I’m a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon, Anderson performed his single “Trippy,” and gave some insight on his working with Dre.

“Both of us are perfectionists so it’s really frustrating sometimes,” Anderson said.

When asked if he’s ever butted heads with Dre, he gave a firm yes. “His head is bigger than mine too. He’s bigger, so it’s like, alright Dre, sounds good to me! We have the same tastes…I made a lot of music with Dr. Dre, probably two albums worth. It’s music I really feel like getting out. Oxnard is a beautiful place I got a lot of grit, I was doing a lot of rapping…I got a lot more soul music to present.”
