Flavor Flav has stayed out of the news recently, but it seems like drama has caught up with the Public Enemy member. Having ventured off outside of music and into television, it was news to know that Flav had been in the restaurant business for a couple years now. However, Flav is suing his former business partner for allegedly screwing him out of the joint restaurant.

According to Bossip, Flavor Flav and James Hawkins partnered for the opening of a new restaurant, Flavor Flav’s Chicken & Vinny’s Pizza. However, according to Flav, Hawkins screwed the Public Enemy member out of the business while continuing the idea for the company.

“They opened a restaurant together, and Mr. Hawkins unilaterally breached their agreement,” Flav’s lawyer said. “It caused damages to Mr. Drayton because he had fans show up there.”

According to the lawyer, Flav had been doing everything possible to make the restaurant work. Having put countless hours to the business, Flav had even started to hand out numerous copies of his memoir to customers to get them to come back. With this said, when Hawkins allegedly cut Flav from the deal, he had also chosen to change the name.

Flavor Flav and his wife want money for the damages caused, however, nothing’s been said from Hawkins’ party.
