The hip-hop community has suffered great loses over the past couple weeks, as the late DMX sadly passed earlier month, and the news of Black Rob also losing his life sent shock waves throughout the culture.

As more detail comes to light about Rob’s condition and his passing, it looks like the “Whoa” rapper’s manager Kal Dawson had a few things to say about Rob’s former collaborator and honcho of Bad Boy Records Diddy. According to Dawson, Diddy has reached out in attempts to assist with Rob’s funeral, but it was a gesture that was came a little too late.

While many were shocked to see a video surface online of the artist in the hospital and in a bad state, prior to his passing, Dawson believes that Diddy and his team were too slow to help. Speaking with the Murder Master Music Show, Dawson explains, “Through somebody else that was affiliated with Rob, Diddy reached out and was gonna do something for Rob, this is when the video first went up when he was in the hospital.” Dawson continues, “People were dragging their feet and nothing got done. So now you gonna pay for his funeral, he dead and gone now! Everybody wanna do something for you when you dead and gone!”

Kal also went on to reveal that he was the one who posted the initial viral video of Rob in the hospital in hopes to shed light on his condition and show that Rob wasn’t getting the help he should have gotten.

Check out what Dawson had to say below at the 4:15 mark.
