As many have stated, “We waited 94 days for no justice”.

In a reoccurring action, for the fight against social justice and systemic racism that police brutality continues to plague the Black community with no real consequences, the Grand Jury’s decision to not bring any charges against the police officers involved in the killing of the late Breonna Taylor made daunting waves throughout the world today. As a disappointing reminder that justice still is not being served in 2020, not only have protests have sprung up again in Louisville, Kentucky, but many have expressed their frustrations via social media including rapper Common, actress Viola Davis, Snoop Dogg, and many more.

While none of the police officers involved with the killing of Taylor, Kentucky Attorney General only bringing charges of wanton endangerment against former policeman Brett Hanikson, Viola Davis uploaded a lengthy message from the NAACP, “Bulls— decision!!! BLACK LIVES MATTER!!! Cannot be said enough times.”

Common took to his Twitter to share tributes to the late 26-year-old as well as clips of activism from James Baldwin, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King, Jr.

Snoop Dogg also took to his Instagram account to share a message that many have echoed on social media as Taylor’s life was failed by the country’s justice system.
