Ice-T Opens Up About Devastating Toll Coronavirus Has Taken On His Family

Rap icon and pioneer and “Law & Order: SVU” star Ice-T appeared on a recent airing of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where the rapper-turned-actor revealed how the novel coronavirus has devastatingly impacted his life.

Ice opened up about his honest fears over contracting the virus and why he isn’t afraid to let people know that he is actually afraid of the pandemic. Ice has been extremely persuasive and transparent with speaking out against misconceptions and non-believers of the virus, as the illness has taken a toll on him and his family. The actor revealed to Fallon that several people he knows has lost their lives to COVID-19.

The father of Ice-T’s wife was also hospitalized due to coronavirus complications, admitting to Fallon that his father-in-law is “a Harley Davidson-riding, no-mask-ing type of dude”, and reveals that his in law was confirmed to have double pneumonia and spent three days in the ICU and another month in the hospital.

During the interview Ice-T confuses, “I’ve made it through so much in my life”. I don’t wanna die because of this, and especially with a new daughter. So, yeah, I’m aware, and I’m concerned, and I’m cautious. If you wanna call that scared, call it scared.”
