Lil Kim is undoubtedly one of the greatest rappers and artists of all time. With this, many people are interested about her story and we might be able to see it sooner than later.

In a recent interview with The Real, Kim talked about the rumors that a biopic on the her will be planned and is on the horizon. Although it’s currently not in the works, Kim appears ready to tell her story.

“I’ve gotten so many offers,” she said. “I’m talking, major offers… even BET, Lifetime, Lionsgate. But the thing is, I had to be ready, and I think now I’m ready to tell the story.”

However, even though she’s ready to tell her story, she will not be working with the director she hoped to work with. John Singleton has previously expressed interest in creating her biopic before his passing.

“Him and I went [to a party]. He was like, ‘I want you to be my celebrity date.’ But I knew what that meant. He wants to talk, right? So he said to me, ‘Kim, why aren’t we doing this movie? You’re a walking best-seller.’ And I was like, ‘Well, I’m waiting for you.’ I said to him, I always said if I did a movie about my life, I’m not doing it with anybody but you. And then he passed away,” Kim said.

Considering her legendary career, hopefully we still get the Lil Kim biopic sometime in the future.
