Many people have high expectations for the Clippers this upcoming NBA season. With the additions of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers can be considered favorites by many to take the championship. In a recent survey for General Managers, 46% of GMs reportedly believe the Clippers will win the 2019-20 NBA title. Following the Clippers is the Bucks, with 36% of the votes, then the Lakers with 11%.

The NBA GMs responded to a total of 50 different questions regarding the best teams, players, coaches, fans, and off-season moves. However, they could not vote for their own team or personnel, so it’s all based on the current pool of those that responded, rather than all 30 GMs.

GMs also named the best players they think currently play in the NBA, with 62% having Kawhi Leonard as the best small forward in the league. Stephen Curry was named best point guard with an impressive 90%, James Harden got the top shooting guard position with 86%, Giannis Antetokounmpo was the best power forward with 59% and Nikola Jokic was voted as the league’s best center with 48%.

Giannis was also voted as the player whom they’d choose to start a team with with a massive 86%, as well as the player who’s most likely to win the NBA MVP award. Zion Williamson was also selected as most likely to win the Rookie of the Year award with 68%.
