For years, fans have been wanting a solo Andre 3000 album, considering the rapper hasn’t actively put out music. In a recent interview, Thurz mentioned about a time when Andre linked up with Dr. Dre in the studio when he was present. Thurz went on to say that Andre had an album on the way and reports quickly circulated surrounding the possible project.

Now, in a recent interview with Atlanta’s Majic radio station’s Uncensored Speak show, Big Boi and Sleepy Brown stated that all the information was “lies.”

“He was probably playing some music, but he’s not working on a record,” Big Boi said. “He’s been recording songs for years. Kinda recording, kinda just stacking up, but structured record? Not yet.”

Big Boi then stated that Andre was currently shooting a television show in Philadelphia. “He personally hit us and said, ‘Look man, if I was gonna do this, y’all be the first to know,'” Sleepy Brown then added.
