It’s been over 15 years since one of the most iconic duos in NBA history played in Los Angeles together, and although the Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal were able to sin three consecutive titles in the early 2000’s, Bryant is letting it be known that he could have earned more rings if Shaq were “in shape”.

During their tenure together, Kobe and Shaq had their feuds and clashed over work ethic and style, and during a recent interview with Patrick Bet-David, Bryant spoke on what would happen if Shaq had the Mamba Mentality saying, ““He’d be the greatest of all time. He’d be the first to tell you that…
“I wish he was in the gym. I would’ve had 12 f****** rings!”

Kobe also shared a story of when he told Shaq to only get rebounds, as an 18-year-old rookie. The retired Laker also goes on to discuss what happened after the infamous brawl that went down saying:

When he saw me challenge him on that he said ‘this kid’s crazy, alright, I can win with that.’ And that’s the beginning of our relationship, really.
