The title might be a bit tentative, but Bishop Lamont’s off the dome lyricism is nothing to be overlooked.

Coming through to the 935 KDAY studios to deliver a freestyle to prove that the art of spitting bars on the spot has not died. Making a point to announce that most rappers in the current state of hip hop typically use their phones or memorize their rhymes beforehand, Lamont spits a nearly five-minute verse over a Dae One beat. Not only does Bishop spits bars freely, he also discusses with Noah Ayala the impact rapper Kurupt had on his skill.

In the freestyle Bishop raps:

These cats is out to kill n****s like it’s a real sport
And take the Tito’s with the ice, melt that ice
We gotta stand up for people, that’s fully my advice
You gotta be more than Twitter fingers or just doing these posts
You gotta stand out there on the front line and play it that close.
