With rumors that the Los Angeles Clippers are the favorites to sign Kawhi Leonard after the Finals, it may come as no surprise for them to praise the star player. In a recent sit-down with ESPN’s “SportsCenter Special: NBA Finals Preview,” Clippers’ head coach, Doc Rivers was full of praise for the Toronto player. Rivers went as far as to label Leonard “the most like Jordan that we’ve seen.”

“He is the most like [Michael] Jordan that we’ve seen,” Rivers said of Leonard. “Not that he is Jordan or anything like that, but he’s the most like him. Big hands, post game, can finish, great leaper, great defender, in-between game, if you beat him to the spot he bumps you off and then you add his three-point shooting.”

Leonard helped take the Toronto Raptors to their first NBA Finals appearance in franchise history. So far he’s managed to average 31.2 points per game, with 8.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.6 steals. However, even with this success in Toronto, it appears that Leonard is ready to return to California.

Kawhi Leonard potentially signing with the Clippers could prove to be their biggest acquisition since the Blake Griffin/CP3 days.
