LeBron James joining the Lakers instantly gave the team new expectations from what was accustomed these past few years. However, the signing of James was not enough to get the LA team to the playoffs, giving them a similar record to the past couple of seasons.
Not much time has passed since his arrival and rumors have already surfaced that the Lakers may be looking to trade James. Many are saying that the former Cavaliers’ star is unhappy by the way the team is being managed, however, Magic Johnson has other ideas.
In a recent interview with ESPN’s First Take, Magic talked about the current problem the Lakers face and why he left the team. Johnson also said that he is certain LeBron can win his fourth ring in Los Angeles.
“It’s gonna happen,” Johnson said. “Just like me going back to my business and doing what I’m doing, LeBron’s gonna win that ‘ship. He’s going to be in that room recruiting.”
