Despite having had only one year in college, Zion Williamson has already become one of the biggest prospects in NBA history. Most fans are presuming that Zion will be headed to New Orleans, considering the Pelicans have the no. 1 draft pick. Although rumors have circulated that he may not be interested in joining the NOLA team, Master P has stated that the city will greatly support the young player.

In a recent interview with TMZ, the No Limit boss went as far as to say that “[Zion will] be bigger than Michael Jordan.”

Master P further added why he speaks so highly of Zion.

“Think about it. When Jordan first came out of college everyone had to have his jersey. Everyone wanted to be like Mike. Come to New Orleans they gonna wanna be like you, Z.” He said.

Zion reportedly wanted to join the New York Knicks, but with the NY team getting the 3rd pick of the draft, it seems impossible that it’ll happen. However, Williamson’s stepfather, Lee Anderson, has since stated that his son would be happy to play with whichever team picks him. “One thing that Zion has always been taught is to accept the things you can’t change and change the things that you can change. And, this is one of the things that he has nothing to do with,” Anderson said in a Baton Rouge sports radio show.

Although nothing is set in stone, great things are expected for Zion from whichever team ultimately decides to pick him.
