Colin Kaepernick continues to make headlines as of late, just last week he settled his collusion case against the NFL, which claimed that he was being blackballed by the institution. People expected Kaepernick to go through with the lawsuit, but in the end chose not to. With this set, there’s still a possibility for Kaepernick to come back to the NFL. His lawyer, Mark Geragos, has even said that the player wants to go back to playing football again.

“I think you’re going to see … within the next two weeks that somebody is going to step up and do the right thing, and you want me to predict who?” Geragos said. “Besides the Panthers, it would not surprise me if [Patriots owner] Bob Kraft makes a move.”

Kaepernick could make Carolina a potential destination, as Cam Newton is expected to be out for the rest of 2019 with an injury. The Patriots may also be a possibility as Tom Brady is close to the end of his career.

“This is a competitive young man.” Geragos said.
