Lil Wayne has had an eventful couple of months. With the release of his anticipated “Tha Carter V” album, Wayne has reportedly been trying to get his money together as soon as possible.

In this instance, Wayne’s been focusing on his lawyer. The rapper has had the same lawyer for over 13 years up until September 2018. However, it seems like his ex-lawyer was booted due to excessive fees that totaled to around $20M. Now, Wayne reportedly set to take his former attorney to court.

According to TMZ, Wayne has filed a $20M lawsuit against his former lawyer due to being overcharged throughout the 13 years. In documents obtained by the publication, Wayne claimed the former lawyer had been charging him 10% of every deal he would close. The charge was supposed to originally only be half of that, which led Wayne to think $20M was excessive.

It seems like his attorney got a little too money hungry. Hopefully Wayne and his former attorney can work this out sooner than later.
