NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has made his stance clear regarding Kevin Hart being pulled away from hosting the Oscars. Hart was pulled from hosting after several tweets posted from 2009 to 2011 surfaced, which led to massive outrage on the internet.

Having already apologized, Shaq had some things to say about Kevin’s situation.

“Some people feel he made a mistake,” Shaq tells TMZ. “He apologized for his mistake. I always thought comedians were allowed to crack jokes.”

“Anyone that knows Kevin Hart should know that anything he said was never malicious. He shouldn’t have to keep apologizing,” Shaq said. “He apologized twice. People should just move on. Everyone makes mistakes.”

Kevin Hart has since said he would not host the event if they called him back, due to lack of time.
