Fortnite has become a popular game for the past couple of months, but it’s received backlash from the hip hop community. The game has taken dances from BlocBoy JB, who was not given his rightful credit for the “Shoot” dance and from 2 Milly who’s taken legal action for their usage of the Milly Rock. Once again, Fortnite creators are being sued, this time by Alfonso Ribeiro for taking the “Carlton Dance.”

The actor popularized the dance in the 90s hit TV show, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. According to TMZ, Ribeiro has filed a lawsuit again Epic Games for ripping off his dance moves in the game. Ribeiro says the creators simply created a new dance called “Fresh Emote,” which is a complete copy of the moves he did in The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. With this, the actor is currently in the middle of copyrighting the Carlton dance.

Hopefully both parties can come to an understanding and resolve their problems.
