J Prince On ‘The Art Of Science & Respect,’ Drake’s Secret Kanye Diss Track + Pimp C’s Death

J Prince checks in with Noah Ayala from 935 KDAY to talk about his new book ‘The Art & Science of Respect,’ Drake’s secret diss track to Pusha T and where 6ix9ine’s trolling antics will land him.

The Rap-a-Lot Records CEO has not only paved the way for Houston-based rappers, responsible for putting on Drake, and also managed a few top sports talent, including Floyd Mayweather, Prince details his journey from his underprivileged come up in his newly released book.

With an experience spanning over two decades, Prince shares his knowledge from his career that includes the Baka Boyz and more, the author comments on the state of today’s hip-hop and the influence drugs has impacted the lives of many artists. Speaking on the passing of late rapper Pimp C, who lost his life to drug abuse, Prince tells Noah:

A heartbreaking moment, you know what I mean. Because, I had visited Pimp when he was in the penitentiary and these are things that we, you know what I mean, strategized on and said that we not gonna never allow this to take place in our world again. So, for that to be the cause, yeah, [it was] mind blowing.

J Prince also goes on to talk about the secret Kanye West diss track that Drake recorded but never released, comments on the drama surrounding his son and New York rapper 6ix9ine, and much more.
