In a recent interview with The Undefeated, Kobe Bryant talked about the current state of the Lakers’ roster led by LeBron James, whom he referred to as his favorite current favorite player.

Kobe offered his theory on how the Lakers can defeat the Golden State Warriors in the next four years. “Rob has smartly built a team of physical players. Big, versatile, fast, physical players,” he said. “He understands that if you want to challenge Golden State, you can’t challenge them with shooting. That’s what they do.”

When asked if he sees the current Lakers team as a viable playoff team in the Western Conference, he responded while laughing with a “c’mon.”

The Lakers have missed the playoffs for the last five seasons, meaning that the team is still restructuring and with LeBron at the forefront, it is possible to do so.
