This November will mark the 25th anniversary of Snoop Dogg’s debut album, Doggystyle. Not only that, he’s been active in television and creation of new shows, and now hes looking to take his talents to theater for a new play “Redemption Of The Dogg.”

Snoop Dogg took to Twitter to announce the upcoming live play, “Redemption Of The Dogg,” which he’ll be staring alongside Tamar Braxton.

The character is set to be based on Snoop Dogg. According to a press release, the play “examines the internal battle one man has between preserving his life-long legacy and losing the love of his life when he is faced with choosing fame and fortune over faith and family.”

Uncle Snoop’s upcoming play will feature his greatest hits and a couple tracks from his new album, Bible Of Love.

The tour starts on October 5th in Houston.
