Kobe Bryant continues to rack up trophies, even after retirement. On Tuesday night, Kobe’s animated short “Dear Basketball” won a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Post-Produced Graphic Design.
Bryant was an executive producer for the short film, which showcases Kobe’s time in the sport from a child to NBA champion. It’s based off a poem of the same title that he wrote for The Player’s Tribune in 2015 before his final NBA season.
In addition to the Sports Emmy, it’s important to note that Bryant also took home his first Oscar in March.
“Dear Basketball” won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
