It is a rare sighting to see any interviews or press from mogul Birdman but when these occasions do occur, we are often met with viral moments, i.e. the fifth anniversary of “Put some Respeck on my name” has just passed, and now, we learned that B has been making major BANK off of his early Cash Money records releases and even the new generation of Young Money.
Recently speaking with Wallo of Where’s Wallo, the mogul reflected back on his early come up in the game when he was an integral part in launching the careers of greats like Juvenile, Lil Wayne, and Mannie Fresh, as well as the Young Money collective which gave us stars like Drake and Nicki Minaj. Explaining that he owned his masters ever since signing his first record deal, B e=shared that it didn’t take long for his label to recoup with the success behind Juve’s 400 Degreez, which Birdman shares sold 10 million copies.
