DMX Set To Play Lead Detective Role In Upcoming Film

DMX has made an incredible comeback since his release from prison earlier this year. Having celebrated the 20th year release of his It’s Dark and Hell is Hot album with a tour, he’s set to return to the silver screen.

According to HotNewHipHop, DMX is set to join a cast of the film, which includes the likes of Brendan Sexton and Tara Reid. The film is titled “Chronicle Of A Serial Killer,” and is directed by Steve Stanulis. In his role, X will be playing as one of the lead detectives looking to take down the bad guys.

“When my casting director suggested DMX it immediately resonated with me as a perfect fit, the director told HNHH. “I have no doubt he is going bring a different dynamic to the role and I’m excited to have him part of this talented cast. I’m looking forward to working with him and everyone else this summer.”

Filming for the film will begin in June in New York City.
