Hip-hop icon and our family Daz Dillinger recently came through to the 935 KDAY studios to speak with Morning Show co-hosts Cece and Romeo to celebrate the legacy of the late legend 2Pac’s 25th anniversary of his passing. Reflecting back don’t the time he shared with Pac both in the studio and personally, Daz shared how hits like “Ambitionz As A Riddah” came together as well as dropping details on his latest release “Lowrider.”

Featured on Daz’s upcoming 2022 album, the Dilly Tha Dogg production is highlighted with a new visual, directed by KDAY’s very own Guap City. Daz grabbed morning show co-host Cece and the city of Whittier to shut down the block for the classic-car showcase. The new visual features the classic West Coast, KDAY vibe that’s captured in the sampled War “Low Rider” standard.

On the new track, the vet rapper and producer-extraordinaire salutes Cali and 935, “I was ridin’ through East L.A., on my way to Long Beach, bumpin’ K-D-A-Y. I was swingin’ with the homies, 21 low-lows, my tires sittin’ on loco!”
