A few weeks ago, rap vet Lil’ Kim took everyone by surprise when she revealed that she would be open to doing a Verzuz battle with Nicki Minaj, during her recent BET Awards appearance.

While there’s already a huge debate behind the two iconic women in rap meeting for a Verzuz celebration, Kim’s former Junior Mafia bandmate Lil’ Cease made it clear that he has the Queen Bee’s support in a battle and shares that the Thriller-backed event would be good for the culture. Speaking with Allhiphop.com, Cease stated, “I think that’s something great for the culture, I think when everybody saw Kim say it, I think a lot of people took it the wrong way.” He continued, “It was like, no, I think that will be great for the culture. If you felt like they had issues, this should be the time to get them both in one room. And Verzuz is not a battle, Verzuz us about a celebration. So, at the end of the day, Kim was just extended that invite to say, ‘Hey, I would rather go with her ’cause I think that makes sense.”
Cease went on to clarify that he embraces the opportunity of celebration between the two hip-hop Queens but definitely shared he’s team QB!
