LeBron James is looking at having quite the 2021 so far, as the Lakers are currently sitting in the number three position in the West, and it was announced today that the forward has become a part owner of the Boston Red Sox.

Although James has yet to speak publicly on the matter, he did update his Instagram account with a ‘3:16’ reference, which could allude to the four-time champ obtaining shares in the Fenway Sports Group, which is the parent company to the Red Sox. According to the Boston Globe, LeBron is now a minority partner in FSG, which means he has his hand in the Sox! News on exactly how much the 36-year-old baller has invested in the company, but it is being reported that the owner of the Boston Globe, John Henry, who is actually the majority owner of the Red Sox, is worth about $2.8 billion!

Congratulations to L.A.s own James on the new business venture!
