Los Angeles’ own Daz Dillinger and East Coast Queens’ Capone slide through the KDAY Morning Show with Cece and Romeo.

Both Daz and Capone started collaborating after appearing on N.O.R.E.’s “Drink Champs” podcast, which eventually lead the duo to creating a dcou-series that follows the process of creating a full-length album during the coronavirus quarantine. Daz and Capone detail how they’ve been keeping busy and staying focused during the current health pandemic and share that the music creation has lead to an extensive project that they’re ready to drop.

The duo also talk features and production credits on the upcoming album, share their thoughts why Snoop Dogg and DMX had the best Verzuz Battle installment, who they want to see next on the Verzuz platform, and why they would choose Anita Baker over Sade.
