Earlier this year, Eddie Murphy announced his return to comedy. Not only that, Murphy also said that he would be making an appearance on SNL later this month.
A lot of attention has been on Murphy since his recent role in Netflix’s Dolemite Is My Name, and many more people will be checking him out as he is readying his stand-up comedy return that will be streamed on Netflix.
In a recent interview with Ellen, Murphy talked about the preparation he’s been doing before filming his upcoming Netflix special. “I’m gonna start kinda working it out in the beginning of the year and then when it’s ready, you know, I’ll try to give myself eight or nine months to get it ready,” he told Ellen.
Not only that, Eddie also explained that he would be testing out some of his jokes at smaller venues, just to practice and to give his fans a taste of what’s in store.
