Biggie’s Brooklyn “one-room shack,” that he lived in growing up is now a three-bedroom home. The rapper perfectly detailed his early story on his hit single, “Juicy,” and as expected, a lot has changed since then. Biggie’s house has now been renovated and is currently set to be rented out at a high price.

Biggie’s neighborhood and area in which he lived in has changed tremendously since his passing. No longer the hub for drugs and violence, the location is still considered historic for what it means to New Yorkers everywhere. Compass broker Fabienne Lecole said, “The apartment is iconic…a historical gem.”

“It’s so calm and residential now,” Lecole said. “It’s hard to imagine it’s the same street that he sang about with all the drugs and gunfire. It couldn’t be more different.”

Considering the house went up for sale in 2013 and sold for $825K, whoever decides to rent it out will have the dough.
