Dj Quik along with Hi-C check in with Romeo before their set to talk how important Krush Groove is to them and they give the key to success.

The 10th Anniversary was a special moment for not only the West Coast but for hip hop as a whole. Speaking on the impact that the Krush Groove concert has on the city of Inglewood, Quik says, “It’s the culture getting behind artists that they saw carry the torch and go through all the hard times, you know? This is like “The Victory Lap”. I hate to bite Nipsey [Hussle] but this is our “Victory Lap,.”

Before hitting the stage, Quik also talks on the key components of creating hit records and what it’s like working with family and being able to come together although they may disagree.
