Jim Jones has accepted a plea deal in the drug case going back from an incident that happened last year. Back in June 2018, Jones was arrested in Georgia after officers found drugs and firearms in the car that he was in. Jones was a passenger in the car with three other men, and cop have since stated that the rapper and company tried to make a run for it.

Police reportedly found marijuana, oxycodone, Percocet, vape cartridges, and two loaded guns when the vehicle finally pulled over. Everyone was then arrested, as nobody claimed that the firearms and drug were theirs. Jones was then charged with three counts of a possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of marijuana.

According to TMZ, Jones’ plea states that he was sentenced to two years probation and a $1,500 fine, plus minor court fees. Three of Jones’ six charges were reportedly dropped and the remaining charged will be cleared if he can stay out of trouble during his probationary period. With this said, Jones cannot drink or do drugs, or be in possession of drugs while on probation.
