Ashanti Teases Joint Album With Ja Rule & Solo Record

After many classic collaborations, it seems like Ashanti and Ja Rule are set to release a joint-album sooner than later. In a recent interview with People, Ashanti gave an update on their upcoming album. “We have some shows together,” she continued. “He’s definitely gonna be working on stuff and we’re gonna be doing some stuff together as well. We’re still on the path to dropping a joint album. I think that should be kind of cool, too.” She said.

Ashanti also gave an update on her upcoming 7th solo album.

“There are a lot of things going on and it’s important to try and line everything up as much as you can, but it’s also important to not sit and wait on things. Sometimes I have a bad habit of waiting for things to line up perfectly because sometimes that doesn’t happen and then you miss out, but I’d love to have some new stuff out this summer!”

A joint album with Ashanti and Ja Rule would be great considering their timeless hits together. So, hopefully that drops soon.
