Teams have been eyeing Anthony Davis potential move to their teams for some time now. However, it appears that the Lakers are front-runners as they are trying to trade multiple young stars before the deadline on Thursday. According to ESPN, the Lakers have offered Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Rajon Rondo, Michael Beasley, and a first-round pick for Anthony Davis. The Lakers have reportedly limited their offers to two top young players in their trade deals, which would greatly help the Pelicans if accepted.

The New Orleans Pelicans have not responded to the trade offers as of yet. However, Lakers president Magic Johnson has been talking with Pelicans GM Dell Demps, and it appears Demps isn’t budging. With only five days left until the trade deadline hits, the Pelicans have not made a counter offer.

Davis addressed the media regarding a possible move from the Pelicans. “It’s my time,” he said. “I feel like I gave this city, the organization, fans everything I felt like I could. Don’t know how long I’m gonna play this game. People’s careers are short. I feel like it’s my time to move on.”
