Snoop Dogg is a proud father to say the least. He recently went up to the Wendy Williams’ Show to discuss his daughter’s singing career and his son’s decision to quit football.

Snoop mentioned how it was hard for him to hear that his son wanted to leave the sport, but understood because of the dangers it carries.

“My son is very smart for getting out early and maintaining his mind-state,” he told Wendy Williams about his son, Cordell Broadus. “It was difficult for him [to break it to me] because he said he had played for me his whole life and he wanted to play for himself.”

Cordell has since decided to pursue fashion and film because of the CTE (Chronic traumatic encephalopathy) dangers in the sport.
