Since retiring from the league, Kobe Bryant has been known to give advice and help out rising stars in the NBA. However, he’s not done yet as he is offering his insights outside of the NBA as well, even offering to help train Shaq’s kids.

In a recent TMZ talk with Shaunie O’Neal, she explained that Bryant has always offered to help train Shaq and Shaunie’s younger son, Shaqir.

“Kobe always offers … we’re just so far from each other, but he always offers,” Shaunie says.

Shaqir is set to play high school basketball at Crossroads school in Santa Monica, California. Which is where LeBron James’ son, LeBron James Jr has also chosen to enroll. Shaqir’s older brother, Shareef O’Neal, will play college basketball at UCLA in the 2018-19 season.

It’s all up to Shaq now if he’s willing to take that offer. Still, it’s great to see these two Laker legends supporting each other.
