Having already established a long-lasting legacy alongside DJ Premier, Guru’s untimely death in 2010 was mourned by fans all across the world. However, before his death, the Gang Starr MC also managed to pump out several solo albums, including the innovative Jazzmatazz series.
His Jazzmatazz Vol. 1 album hit its 25th anniversary on May 18th, and to mark the occasion, Urban Legends put out a lyric video for “No Time To Play” to go with a three-LP deluxe vinyl reissue.
The package includes a deluxe three-LP vinyl version with the original 12-track album, an instrumental LP, and a third disc featuring rare, unreleased remixes and B-Sides.
Each will be packed with its own custom slipcase and it includes a 12-page booklet with photos by photographer Thierry Le Goues.
