Janet Jackson Will Be Honored At The 2018 Billboard Music Awards

Pop legend, Janet Jackson will be honored with an appropriately prestigious award at this year’s Billboard Music Awards. Dick Clark Productions and NBC announced that Jackson will be receiving the iconic award, which recognizes singers’ contributions.

Jackson will be performing a highly anticipated show, which will be her first on television in nice years. She joins the club of recipients along with Neil Diamond, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion and Cher.

The 2018 Billboard Music Awards is set to be hosted by Kelly Clarkson. It will broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, May 20 at 5 p.m.

Jackson has been dominant on the Billboard charts for decades. Some of her greatest hits include, “That’s The Way Love Goes,” ”I Get Lonely” and “All for You.” She’s also set to kick off another leg of her State of the World Tour in July.
