The Lakers have been without LeBron James and Rajon Rondo for a couple weeks now. The two major superstars went down with injuries and the team has struggled to earn consecutive wins since.

The Lakers are currently relying on their young players to gather some wins, considering the lack of veteran leadership in the court at the moment. One of these new players is Lonzo Ball, who talked about his new responsibilities leading the purple and gold team.

“LeBron and Rondo are arguably two of the best leaders ever. Having both of them out, that’s two of our main guys who are talking on the court. It’s new for me. It’s new for B.I. [Brandon Ingram]. Kuz [Kyle Kuzma] probably takes the most out of all of us.” Lonzo said.

Since James went down with a groin injury, the Lakers have struggled considerably. Hopefully the team’s veterans can get healthy as soon as possible.
