Talib Kweli Teases Collaborative Album With Kanye West

Kanye West has had an interesting year to say the least. The Chicago rapper has voiced his support for Donald Trump, has released an album and produced a couple for G.O.O.D. Music, so either you still support him or completely cancelled him.

However, Kanye has since announced that he will leave politics to the side and choose to focus on his music. According to some of his recent tweets, Ye feels like he was used by others by others around him to promote things he did not believe in.

Now, previous collaborator Talib Kweli has teased a song off a collaborative album he has been working on with Kanye West since the beginning of the year. The clip begins with Kweli rapping alongside one of the tracks’ lyrics about something similar to what Kanye experienced this past week with Candace Owens.

The lyrics read:

N*ggas wanna play both sides
Like both sides got very fine people
One side wanna is fighting, playing the nazis
The other side is straight evil
If people wanting to be equal is a threat to you
And equality is death to you
You’re probably sensitive about your testicles
We celebrate diversity with carnivals festivals

A release date for the project has yet to be announced but a Talib & Kanye collab would definitely be interesting in 2018.
